LCS Biotech has achieved EFfCI-GMP
LCS Biotech has achieved EFfCI-GMP (European Federation for Cosmetic Ingredients GMP) facility certification.
Based on the structure of ISO 9001 and the IPEC (International Pharmaceutical Excipients Council) GMP guidelines, the EFfCI certification requires systematic quality control throughout the cosmetic ingredient production process, compliance with manufacturing environments and process standards, adherence to cosmetic ingredient GMP operational records, safety compliance, and management monitoring, culminating in an on-site audit.
By ensuring compliance with good manufacturing practices in the production of cosmetic ingredients, obtaining EFfCI-GMP certification demonstrates that a cosmetic manufacturer adheres to ISO 22716:2007 (cosmetic good manufacturing practice guidelines) and the EU Regulation (EC) No 1223/2009 for cosmetics. Currently, approximately 220 companies worldwide and around 20 companies domestically hold the EFfCI-GMP certification.
The certification for LCS Biotech reflects a heightened demand for safety and quality competitiveness of raw materials from consumers and domestic and international cosmetic manufacturers, aiming to enhance product reliability.
