[더케이뷰티사이언스]  대한화장품산업연구원(원장 조신행)은 '인-코스메틱스 코리아 2026(in-cosmetics Korea 2026)' 세미나에서 원료 국산화 지원사업 참여기업의 원료 기술을 소개하고, 국내외 바이어와 업계 관계자에게 국산 원료의 개발 흐름을 전했다.

대한화장품산업연구원은 2026년 원료 국산화 지원사업을 통해 국내 화장품 원료기업의 사업화를 지원하고 있다. 이번 세미나는 지원사업 참여기업이 개발·생산한 화장품 원료를 소개하는 자리로 마련됐다.  

원료 국산화 지원사업은 국내 화장품 원료 산업의 기술 자립과 글로벌 경쟁력 강화를 목표로 한다. 지원 범위는 생산시설·장비 구축, 효능·안전성 평가, 품질시험·검사 등이다. 특히 인체적용시험처럼 비용 부담이 크거나 전문성이 필요한 시험 항목을 지원해 국산 원료의 과학적 근거 확보를 돕는다.

이번 세미나에는 LCS바이오텍과 현대바이오랜드가 참여했다. 두 기업은 연구원의 지원을 바탕으로 추진 중인 원료 개발 내용을 소개했다. 공통된 방향은 원료의 기원이나 콘셉트만이 아니라, 효능·안전성 평가와 품질 검증 데이터를 통해 글로벌 시장에서 통할 수 있는 신뢰를 확보하는 데 맞춰졌다.

LCS바이오텍은 세라마이드(Ceramide) 기술 기반의 에코세라마이드(EcoCeramide) 연구를 소개했다. LCS바이오텍은 초장쇄 세라마이드(Ultra-long-chain Ceramide), 결합형 세라마이드(Bound Ceramide), 링커 세라마이드(Linker Ceramide) 등 구조적으로 차별화한 세라마이드 기술을 활용하고 있다고 설명했다.

LCS Biotech has achieved EFfCI-GMP (European Federation for Cosmetic Ingredients GMP) facility certification.

Based on the structure of ISO 9001 and the IPEC (International Pharmaceutical Excipients Council) GMP guidelines, the EFfCI certification requires systematic quality control throughout the cosmetic ingredient production process, compliance with manufacturing environments and process standards, adherence to cosmetic ingredient GMP operational records, safety compliance, and management monitoring, culminating in an on-site audit.

By ensuring compliance with good manufacturing practices in the production of cosmetic ingredients, obtaining EFfCI-GMP certification demonstrates that a cosmetic manufacturer adheres to ISO 22716:2007 (cosmetic good manufacturing practice guidelines) and the EU Regulation (EC) No 1223/2009 for cosmetics. Currently, approximately 220 companies worldwide and around 20 companies domestically hold the EFfCI-GMP certification.

The certification for LCS Biotech reflects a heightened demand for safety and quality competitiveness of raw materials from consumers and domestic and international cosmetic manufacturers, aiming to enhance product reliability.
